The Man

The man is a common slang word for any authority figure(s), such as police officers, your mom, politicians, CEO's, the bourgeoisie, or anyone else who wants to screw up your high and tries to keep you down. They also tend to say things like "hurr durr, drugs are bad kids." The Man is an ambiguous term that can refer to any man, woman, or child (or combination thereof) that impose(s) his/her/their opinion as common law. Regardless of legality, the man resorts to any authoritative means necessary to kill your buzz. Avoid him like the plague.
