[edit] Beginner Dos and Donts
[edit] Do
- Refer to Wikipedia's wiki markup Cheatsheet!
- Browse the Special Pages section and see what articles still need to be created.
- Write what you know!
- Cite sources wherever necessary.
- The redirection code ( #REDIRECT[[page_title_here]] ) is your friend! Use it in place of content to redirect one article to another, this helps consolidate pages and makes for better searching.
[edit] Don't
- Create redundant pages, always search for existing articles first!
- Try not to write in first person unless you're posting a trip report or similar personal experience.
- Never, ever post false information or plagiarize another's work without credit (THIS INCLUDES WIKIPEDIA, GUYS).
[edit] How to Name Articles
- Capitalize proper nouns and leave improper nouns uncapitalized
- Remember that Taimapedia automatically capitalizes the first letter in every article name
- Check for typos (when in doubt, check Wikipedia or Google it)
- Never use abbreviations; always spell out the full name of the article

[edit] Submitting Articles for Deletion
Just add {{deletion}} or {{del}} to the top of a page. A header will be added to the top of the page, and the page will be added to the Deletion category.
You can also add comments. For example, {{del|This is a sample request}} will appear as:
| This Page was Submitted for Deletion |
|---|
| This page has been submitted for deletion. The reason given is This is a sample request. |
